Direction to the HKUST Workshop

We have arranged transportation to pick up the workshop speakers from
the Grand Hyatt Hotel to HKUST.  The details:

Place: Main entrance, Grand Hyatt, Wan Chai
Departure Time: 8:15 am

Student helpers: Mr. Simon Wong and Mr. Jingyi He

The morning speakers will go on the minivan to get to the university
first, while the afternoon speakers will take the taxi with the
student helpers moment after.  The taxi cost will be covered by the
student helpers.



Regarding taking public transportation, the direction from WanChai to
HKUST: 

1) Taxi*:
   This is the most direct and fastest way.  It costs about HK$200
   including the tunnel fee.  The total time is around 35 minutes.  

or
2) MTR (Mass Transit Railway):
   Take MTR from Wan Chai station to Hang Hau station (you need to
   interchange the blue HK line to the purple line at the North Point
   station).  Then from Hang Hau take a taxi* to HKUST.  It costs
   about HK$15 (MTR) + HK$30 (taxi).  The total time is about 75
   minutes.


* You will be dropped off at the main entrance of the HKUST on the
  University Road.  There will be signs and directions to go to the
  workshop after you enter into the main camplex of the university.
