Biography I received my BEng degree in electrical engineering and MPhil degree in computer science from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), and PhD degree in computer science from the University of Southern California (USC). I started my academic career as an assistant professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago. I then joined the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) where I am now a full professor in computer science and engineering.
