COURSE OBJECTIVES
To form a comfortable relationship with at least one faculty member (me!).
To begin the journey to become tomorrow's leaders by looking beyond
individual issues to regional, national, international and global issues.
To enhance your listening, reading and speaking skills.
COMP 00x RULES
This course is a pass--fail course.
Dr Horner (horner@ust.hk) is the coordinator for the course.
If you have any problems with it, you can contact him.
Each term, you need to attend both meetings and
a seminar.
The seminar will be announced later.
COMP 00x is a required course for all varieties of
CS majors.
If you miss any meetings or seminars you will
be given a grade of F in the course.
For example, if you are a final-year student, you need it to graduate.
(Last year, one of my final-year students did not believe this fact
even after repeated warnings.
But he did get an F grade and could not graduate.)
