Abstract:

Segmentation, Matting and Blending for images and videos are fundamental
operations in computer graphics and instrumental in producing visual
effects. They are critical for the success of many high level vision
applications. A large number of algorithms have been proposed for each
problem. In this survey, we will first review several representative and
recent algorithms for each problem. Then we shall give a description of
our current work and suggest some possible future research directions.
